Hi friends 👋 I decided to get my hands on the ArtSnacks July 2019 subscription box, which features the theme of watercolours. I adore watercolours a lot as this is what I mostly use for my Betsy illustrations.
Each of the items in my box worked so well together, it was impossible not to get giddy on the art supplies ☺️
Since the two watercolour paints are rose and yellow, I decided to incorporate them to my illustration piece featuring Betsy as a flamenco dancer. Doesn’t she look lovely in her dress?
I did a quick review on the ArtSnacks box, which you can find here on my IGTV channel. And, if you’re interested in trying out ArtSnacks, you can check out this link here to take 10% off your first subscription box.
I hope you had an udderly fantastic Wednesday!
Betsy was able to bargain with the local ice cream shop owner by requesting samples of multiple flavors in one waffle cone.
“There’s no such thing as too much dairy-free ice cream,” she proudly said to herself.

Now that summer has arrived, it’s time to find ways in cooling down while surviving the heat. Personally, I’m not a fan of the season as I’m doing my best to avoid the sun. I don’t mind getting Vitamin D, but I don’t want to get sunburned during the process. And that’s why I stock up on sunscreen (SPF 110, to be precise).
It’s really awesome to see so many flavors released for dairy-free ice cream brands. If there’s a particular brand that you love, let me know in the comments!
Betsy sometimes forget that her owners also have a sweet tooth. Perhaps next time, they’ll consider buying their favourite snacks in bulk to avoid the hangry wars.

Hangry wars are a real thing. Better to stock up than be underprepared. Just saying 🤷🏻♀️
Hope you’re having an amazing day, everyone! What are your favourite snacks that you like to munch on?
Hey friends 👋 I’ve decided to try out something new with Betsy as I’ve been experimenting with the Arteza Real Brush Pens on actual paper before making the final edits via Procreate. I’m actually digging this style in combining both traditional & digital art techniques into one image 😊 I wanted to capture a storybook feel and I think I got it right!
Let me know what you think 😃
